DWI Arrest Turns Violent

EL PASO, Texas -- El Paso County sheriff's deputies said while they were arresting a drunk driving suspect, a family member attacked them.

Thirty-three-year-old Judith Alba was charged with felony DWI for allegedly driving drunk with children in her car.

Deputies said Alba became uncooperative during her arrest and her brother, 35-year-old Cruz Lopez, got out of the car and began punching them.

Lopez is now facing assault charges.

In addition, deputies said Alba had an outstanding warrant for assault causing great bodily harm.
