Sheriff's Deputies Arrest H.S. Graduate

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Dona Ana County sheriff's deputies arrested Zachery Rodriguez, 18, on Friday night in connection with a house burglary.Rodriguez allegedly broke into a mobile home in the 3800 block of South Main street.Sheriff's deputies questioned Rodriguez about the break-in and he led them to a dumpster at NMSU.Inside the dumpster sheriff's deputies found three rifles, a pistol, and some other items.After his arrest, Rodriguez complained of stomach pains and admitted he had concealed in his rectum cocaine wrapped up inside a condom.Rodriguez faces charges of aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence.Rodriguez was supposed to attend his the Mayfield High School graduation on Saturday.
