EL PASO, Texas -- The district attorney’s offices has declined to prosecute UTEP basketball Stefon Jackson, who was arrested for hindering apprehension or prosecution in April.The district attorney’s office said not enough sufficient evidence was available to pursue a case against him.Sheriff Jimmy Apodaca told KFOX, "We took action as prescribed and required by law on allegations of a violation occu rred and we took action."Jackson, 21, was arrested in April on accusations that he hid his cousin Willie Harden Jr., who was wanted in Pennsylvania on six federal counts, including two attempted murder charges, inside his home.Stay tuned to KFOX News at Nine and log on to kfoxtv.com for more on this story.
