EL PASO, Texas -- The Pedroza family slept comfortably on Saturday night, because there was no chance it will rain, but every time a cloud is overhead, they worry about their roof leaking."Look how easy it comes off, I'm not even pulling hard," said Edgar Pedroza of West El Paso, as he showed KFOX part of his roof.He said four months ago he hired Dallas Belanger of Precision Roofing to fix it, but soon after signing a contract Pedroza said he got an uneasy feeling."He asked for the copy back, he put his copy under our copy and he wrote a little star right here, and he wrote, 'due to possible rain, no tear off,' it was a sunny day, no chance of rain or anything," Pedroza told exclusively to KFOX.Pedroza said Precision Roofing finished without taking off the old roof, and didn't return any money for not doing that part of the job. The next time it rained the result was walls ruined in a bedroom and bathroom on two separate floors."It leaked from the exact same places, we called him up, they answered they said they were going to call back and schedule an appointment, they never did that. We called back a couple of times, they didn't answered our phone calls," said Pedroza. That was in late December. Since then, Pedroza said Precision Roofing has come back only twice, that they don't return his calls, and the problem still remains. So KFOX called Belanger, and he said someone would be out at 10:30 a.m. Saturday."I stayed in, I was waiting for them, I waited until like 12, midday, and I just went ahead and left," said Pedroza. When KFOX called Belanger Saturday afternoon, we got an immediate response. Belanger and two others were coming over to fix the roof.Within 45 minutes, they finally arrived. Belanger didn't want to go on camera, but said he always works with the customer until they are satisfied, and that they honor all of their warranties. Belanger said no one showed up at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, because they got behind schedule.KFOX checked with the Better Business Bureau, and they said that in the last 36 months, four complaints have been filed against Precision Roofing with similar service issues.
