Border Patrol Agents Arrest Man Wanted In New Mexico

An early morning bust Monday of Mexican nationals illegally entering the U.S. leads to the arrest of a man wanted in New Mexico, authorities said.

Authorities said they caught 10 people two miles west of the Paso Del Norte port of entry trying to enter the U.S.

During processing of the illegal Mexican nationals, agents found 43-year-old Juan de la Cruz Banuelos was wanted in the Albuquerque, N.M., on charges of criminal sexual penetration and assault.

He was turned over to El Paso police pending extradition to face charges at a later date.
