High School Coach Pleads Guilty To Improper Photography

An Anthony High School coach who was accused of taking pictures of young girls in their locker room three years ago, pleaded guilty in a state district court.

The former coach, 50-year-old Jesse Brown, coached volleyball, track and girls basketball.

He was arrested in August 2005 after law enforcement officers seized photos of teenage girls changing in a bathroom at the school.

Brown was charged with improper photography or visual recording, a state felony punishable by up to two years in jail.

A court official said Judge Patrick Garcia of the 384th District Court on Tuesday sentenced Brown to one year in prison as part of a plea agreement.
