EL PASO, Texas -- Authorities have both Scott brothers in custody on a number of charges including two counts of extreme cruelty to animals Wednesday night.

Wednesday morning Duryea Scott turned himself in to Dona Ana County Sheriff deputies with his attorney by his side.

His brother Daron Scott was arrested at Santa Teresa High School where he teaches Tuesday.

All this happens more than two months after police allegedly found 21 pit bulls living in filthy conditions in Chaparral.
