Only On KFOX: Shooting At Fort Bliss Reported

Military Police contacted El Paso Police regarding a possible drive-by shooting on Fort Bliss property early Tuesday morning.

Just after 1:00 a.m. an all-points bulletin was dispatched over El Paso Police radio transmissions regarding a man wanted in connection with a shooting on Stockton Street.

According to the transmission a shots fired call went out just after 12:45 a.m. on Fort Bliss property. El Paso police were asked to be on the lookout for an African-American male possibly driving a white or beige older model Oldsmobile Cutlass .

The man allegedly used a 9 mm handgun in the incident.

KFOX contacted military police early Tuesday morning. The staff sergeant on duty said the investigation was ongoing and would not comment further.
