Teen Breaks Into Store To Use Restroom

A man who said he just wanted to use the bathroom now faces two felony charges and a misdemeanor because of it.

Dona Ana County Sheriff's deputies said it all began at around 4:30 a.m. Thursday at a Pic-Quik store on Dona Ana Road.

They said a female clerk preparing to open the store wouldn't let in 17-year-old Vincent Medina, after he asked to use the bathroom, according to the clerk.

She said Medina began banging on the windows demanding to use the bathroom.

He then allegedly shattered the glass, unlocked the door, went in and used the bathroom.

On his way out, the clerk said, he stole a bottle of wine, and told her "go ahead and call the cops."

She did and he waited for the deputies who arrested him for breaking and entering, criminal damage and petty larceny.
