The following I-10 westbound closures will be in place starting Tuesday, January 5 for approximately six weeks:

Viscount Entrance Ramp Right shoulder between the McRae Exit Ramp and the Viscount Entrance Ramp

In preparation for the 2010 Ramp Reconstruction Project, crews will install project limit signs.

I-10 RAMP IMPROVEMENTS:

The following I-10 closures will continue to be place for approximately ten weeks:

Eastbound Hawkins Entrance Ramp Eastbound right shoulder between the Hawkins Exit Ramp and the Viscount Exit Ramp Westbound Viscount Entrance Ramp Westbound right shoulder between the McRae Exit Ramp and the Viscount Entrance Ramp

In preparation for the 2010 Ramp Reconstruction Project, crews will install project limit signs.

I-10 RAMPS

LIMITS: Viscount to Airway along I-10

DESCRIPTION: 4 – Entrance ramps will be converted to exit ramps

4 – Exit ramps will be converted to entrance ramps

1 – Auxiliary lane will be add on the westbound frontage road between Hawkins and Airway

PROJECT STARTED: January 2010

PROJECT COMPLETE: October 2010 (10 month project)

PRESENT WORK: Hawkins I-10 East Entrance Ramp – demolished Viscount I-10 West Entrance Ramp – demolished

I-10 RAMP IMPROVEMENTS: The following closures will be in place Saturday, February 20 through Friday, February 26 daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Alternate right and left lane closures on Gateway East and Gateway West, between the Hawkins and Viscount Intersections. Left lane on Hawkins Blvd., between Gateway West and Gateway East

The following closures will be in place Monday, February 22 through Thursday, February 25 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Two eastbound left lane closures on I-10 between, the Geronimo Overpass and the Airway Overpass Westbound left lane closure on I-10 between, the Hawkins Overpass and the Airway Overpass

I-10 CABLE BARRIER SYSTEM: There will be evening left lane and shoulder closures (east and westbound) on I-10, between the TransMountain Overpass and the Sunland Overpass Sunday, February 21 through Thursday, February 25 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Expect daily east and westbound left shoulder closures on I-10, between the TransMountain Overpass and the Sunland Overpass, Monday, February 22 through Friday, February 26 from 9 a .m. to 5 p.m.

Crews will be installing a cable barrier.
