Bronx, NY -- The Minnesota Twins may begin their Division Series against the New York Yankees without rightfielder Jacque Jones after his father passed away last week following a battle with cancer.Jones was in California for the funeral, and according to Twins manager Ron Gardenhire, was going to take a red-eye flight to New York Monday night. "He's going to be taking a long flight in and I'm going to wait and see how he does," Gardenhire said of the possibility of Jones missing the series opener. "He's going through quite an ordeal here and has had a tough time with his family. I'll have to see how he's doing. He's taking care of some family business now." Jones hit .254 with 24 homers and 80 RBI this season, his sixth since starting his major league career with Minnesota.
