A Las Cruces couple is mourning the loss of their son, who was killed this week in Iraq.
39 year old Army National Guard Sergeant Christian Engeldrum was killed outside Baghdad when a roadside bomb ripped through his Humvee.
His parents say Engeldrum was a former New York City Fire Fighter who raced to the World Trade Center on September 11th and later went to Iraq because of what he saw that day.
Engeldrum will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
