Ft. Bliss held an activation ceremony for soldiers and officers.

It was for soldiers and officers of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, First Armored Division.

They're also known as the Bulldogs, something Ft. Bliss commander Maj. Gen. Howard Bromberg said is appropriate.

"Tough, loyal, and dedicated. It also fits that a bulldog's built like a rock, it's a powerhouse all in itself. And there's no question that the soldiers standing behind these leaders today are a powerhouse, and we know they'll get the job done, and they'll get it done to standard, said Bromberg"

The ceremony ended with the passing of the colors officially activating the team.
