Louisville Jumps Back Into The Top Five Of Both Polls

By Mike Rutherford

When Louisville heads to New York later this week for the Big East Tournament, it will do so as the No. 4 team in the country.

The Cards made the move up four spots in the AP Top 25, and jumped a pair in the USA Today coaches' poll. U of L sits behind No. 1 Gonzaga, Duke and Indiana in both polls, but leap-frogged co-Big East regular season champion Georgetown.

I think it's pretty clear at this point that if either Louisville or Georgetown winds up cutting down the nets inside Madison Square Garden, a No. 1 seed on Selection Sunday will be in their future.
