Here at State Of The U, we have found that whatever the hell we are doing, you guys like it. So much so, in fact, that it has garnered us some pretty sweet deals. For one, we have a amazing working relationship with the University itself, we've been able to interview people like Brent Musburger and Howard Schnellenberger, and our coverage of the ongoing NCAA debacle has drawn the eyes of some main stream media.
All of this success has translated into increased numbers (over double those of a year ago), more eyeballs reading our words, and a huge social media following. While this is exactly what you want when putting together a blog like this, there are times when you realize that you may need a bit more help.
That's where you, dear reader, come in. As football, baseball, and recruiting seasons are beginning to ramp up for 2013, we here at SOTU have recognized the need for a few extra talented individuals who want to cover their favorite team. If you have a passion for Miami football, baseball, or the world of recruiting, we want YOU. You don't have to be some fancy professional writer, or have some sort of weird degree. All we ask is that you be out of high school, literate, and able to contribute on a regular basis.
We are currently looking for folks that want to help cover football, baseball, and recruiting for the Canes. You don't have to be located in Miami, although that's certainly a plus.
If you or someone you may know is interested in giving the blogging world a spin, and want to be a part of our team, simply shoot an email to StateOfTheUBlog@gmail.com and let me know!
