Trace Adkins' 11th studio album,
Love Will... is due for release this spring on the Show Dog-Universal Music label, coinciding with the singer's return as a contestant on NBC's "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice." The new disc will feature several unexpected (and as-yet-unannounced) guests collaborating with the country superstar. Producers of the collection include Tony Brown, Mark Wright, Frank Rogers, Kenny Beard and Mickey Cones. While the album keeps the focus on love songs, the baritone-voiced singer doesn't want fans to get the wrong idea.
"Hold on one second!" Trace cautions. "This is an album of love songs but in my book, 'Hot Mama' and [Honky Tonk] Badonkadonk' are love songs! So don't start thinking these are all 'I'll love you 'til the end of time' ballads ... but yeah, we've got those, too."
