Before you go out and buy a Team Taylor or Team Tina/Amy t-shirt, perhaps consider the idea that neither side is in the wrong.
Taylor Swift made arguably startling comments in a recent
interview with Vanity Fair magazine in response to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's jokes about her love life at the Golden Globes. "Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women'," Taylor told the magazine, which claims the singer's statement was made in response to both the awards show incident and "mean girls in general."
The Golden Globes hostesses -- who, ironically, starred in the blockbuster hit, "Mean Girls" -- have responded to the VF article, with Amy expressing remorse and Tina getting a bit defensive.
