El Paso's own Danny Olivas is going back in space and you could watch him go!
Are you between the ages of 7 and 14? Do you want to be El Paso's next astronaut? If so, we want to hear about it! Send us your reasons, in 100 words or less, on why you plan to be the next El Pasoan in space.
All entries must be received from July 2 - 22nd. A special panel of judges will choose their 5 favorite essays and they will be put up on the web. You’ll be able to vote for your favorite essay as many times as you’d like from July 27th until August 3rd. The entry with the most votes will be our "El Paso’s Next Astronaut" winner!
The winner will receive a trip for 4 to Cape Canaveral, Florida courtesy of Price's Creameries, to watch El Pasoan Danny Olivas as he heads into space once again aboard the space shuttle!
The winner will be announced on August 4th on KFOX News at 6pm.
