The Asthma Olympics are designed to provide asthmatic children, ages 5-12, with an opportunity to have fun participating in sporting events while learning about asthma. The Asthma Olympics gives children with asthma a safe environment to learn how to manage asthma during physical activity. Events are supervised by volunteers; including registered nurses and respiratory therapists.
