This walk will begin at the intersection of Highway 340 and Waihe’e Valley Road just north of the town of Kahului on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The walk is guided and will begin between 9:45 and 10:15 am, and should be finished by 1:00 pm. The walk is 10 km and will feature a suspension bridge and agriculture aspects of Maui, including an irrigation ditch for sugar cane built by Chinese immigrants in the late 19th century. The walk includes some hills and possible stream crossing, depending upon water levels. It is rated a 2C and is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. This event doesn't have any special Programs assigned. IVV Credit is available.
