The Frontera Women’s Foundation (FWF) invites interested women as guests to a complimentary bi-monthly event, Girl’s Night Out, which will be held Thursday, November 15th at 5:30 p.m., at La Tierra Café, located at 1731 Montana Ave. The upcoming event will feature special guest speaker, Author and Poet, Jacquelyn Stroud Spier who will discuss, “Yes We Are Still Dancing”, a book which Spier co-authored to benefit an Arts & Culture Endowment to serve those pursuing the arts in the Borderland. There will be copies of the book available for purchase. Herminia Escajeda, Owner of La Tierra Café and others will also speak about their Foundation involvement.
