A petition to have Justin Bieber’s green card revoked needs President Barack Obama's administration to take action.

On Wednesday, Bieber pleaded not guilty in to charges of DUI, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license in Florida.

Bieber and R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff were arrested last week in Miami Beach during what police described as an illegal street drag race between a Lamborghini and a Ferrari. Neither has been charged with drag racing.

Police said Bieber cursed at an officer and admitted to smoking marijuana, drinking and taking a prescription medication.

The petition filed on Jan. 23 states

“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

On Thursday, the petition surpassed the 100,000 mark. Since the petition has met the signature threshold, it will require the Obama administration to issue a response.

Court records show that Bieber's attorney filed the written plea Wednesday in Miami-Dade County. Bieber already has an arraignment set for Feb. 14, but Florida law doesn't require the 19-year-old pop star to be present.

According to CNN, Bieber was in Toronto facing an assault charge in connection with an encounter with a limousine driver a month ago.

Bieber traveled to Toronto to be booked on the charge, which will happen at a police station later Wednesday, the source said.

This is the 19-year-old pop star's second arrest in a week.
