Top 10 Hit The Stage To Motown

Wednesday night, "American Idol" contestants tried to wow judges with Motown classics.

"American Idol" contestants prepared for Wednesday's performance with Motown legend Smokey Robinson. Contestants traveled to Hitsville, Detroit where the history of Motown was born.

Songs like "Let's Get It On," For Once In My Life," "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" and "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" were sang by the 'Idol' hopefuls.

The judges were extremely fond of the performances of Matt Giraud, Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta.

On Thursday's elimination show, the audience will get to hear performances by season two "American Idol" winner Ruben Studdard, Joss Stone, Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder.
