Idol Camp

•Idol Camp is a performing arts camp based on “American Idol”

•Idol Camp begins on July 7th, 2007 in Northfield, Massachusetts, with the first of the summer sessions

•Classes in: singing, dancing, acting, writing, audition techniques, instrumental music, music video production, and show production

•Tuition for Idol Camp is $2,900 per 10-day session

•Fully-paid scholarships will be awarded to a percentage of applicants based on financial need.

•Past performance experience is not required

•Acceptance is based on short application questions such as personal and performance background, past inspirations and future goals, and a general passion for the performing arts.

•Acceptance into Idol Camp will not result in placement on the American Idol television series.

•Instruction will be provided by professionals, with special master classes featuring guest artists such as former “Idol” contestants

•Ace Young, Bucky Covington, Kimberley Locke, Vonzell Solomon, Jon Peter Lewis and Carmen Rasmusen are to make appearances

•Enrollment into Idol Camp is open to aspiring 12-15 year olds throughout the US.
